Abortion pill side effects can include heavy bleeding, fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and cramping. Contact a physician if your bleeding, contractions or pain persists.

The Ru-486 or abortion pill may bring about other adverse effects, so it is important to get in touch with a physician and schedule a follow up ultrasound to make sure a septic abortion has not occurred since this can cause illness and possible serious risks.
